ABOUT HITLER

Hitler was born in Austria on April 20, 1889.
Hitler's parents were Alois and Klara Hitler.
He had three brothers and two sisters, but only one survived.

HITLER AND THE JEWS

Adolf Hitler hated Jewish people and tried to kill all of the Jews in Germany.
Nobody knows why Hitler hated Jewish people so much.
Hitler used his words to convince others to follow his beliefs.

WORLD WAR I
Adolf Hitler was a soldier in WWI.
Hitler was in the German military for four years. He got two iron crosses for bravery.
Hitler was angry that the war ended in armistice. HITLER’S WAR INJURIES

Hitler’s first major injury in the war was a grenade splinter.
He was also temporarily blinded by a gas attack. While Hitler was blind, the war ended.

HITLER IN POLITICS
 In 1919, Hitler joined the German Worker’s Party.
 This group was very anti-Semitic.
 Hitler quickly became the leader of the group.
 He came up with the design for the Nazi flag which was made when he took control of the group. THE START OF WWII
 Hitler started WWII by trying to take over other countries.  The last straw was when Hitler used the German army to attack Poland on September 1, 1939.

 On July 20 th , 1944 Hitler was almost killed by an assassin.  One of the members of the German military put a bomb in a suitcase under the table in his lair. Hitler survived with minor injuries .
