Environmental Issues
October 26, 2014
World Pollution Environmental pollution is a major issue to the human race by adding impurity to our environment. As mankind advancing toward the future we are destroying the environment by polluting the air, water, deforestation and global warming etc... Pollution and climate change are always something you need to seriously consider when analyzing environmental issues. Pollution can be partially controlled while climate change cannot, which makes it hard to handle when bad weather hits an area unexpectedly As a matter of facts trees are being chopping down rapidly than being replant. It becoming a permanents issue throws out the world. About half of our tropical forest is being chopping down. According the united nation food and agriculture organization a proximately 18 million acres of land lost each year in order to make available land for other to uses. That also causing climate change our earth is becoming warmer our iceberg is melting away. Sea level is rising. Trees absorb gasses and carbon emission. Trees release oxygen which all living thing utilizes. Without trees the planet temperature will raise the water cycle such as water vapor will be eliminated land and tropical forest became a desert.
Wild life becomes endangered species. This will put Mother Nature out of balance. The polar bear will have no home to live. As we speaking the polar ice are melting rapidly. “Since 1979 the size of summer polar ice cap has shrunk more than 20 percent”. The polar bears are going toward extinction, imperiled by climate change. The day is not far when mother earth come to destruction. Or it will be covered with sea water that will be the destruction of mankind. An average person inhale about 2 gallons of air per minute that proximately 3,400 gallons of air every day. Pure air is always needed for inhaling that also improves our health. On the other hand impure air causes diseases such as burning eyes, itchy throat, and breathing problem. It also can cause death. Smoke pollutes the air. It is the root of pollution. These smoke come from the industrially, and vehicle.
The word “smog” is a word that combines between smoke and fog. It a mixture of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, methane etc. All these poisonous gases are being bombarded at a large portion in to the atmosphere. These cause lung-cancer, tuberculosis etc. which take a heavy toll on our life. Another thing that occur air pollution is from foul smell from decomposed garbage.
According to statistic 70 percent of air pollution caused in the Chinese cities due to carbon monoxide. Resulting deaths increasing fastest in Asia, and let not forget Los Angeles CA, about 5,000 deaths occur in southern California due to pollution from diesel truck. As effect on air pollution this can damage our ozone layer. The ozone layer help protect us from the sun ultraviolent (UV) radiation. As our ozone layer get weaken this will increasing skin cancer, acid raining that will damage food crop.
Acid rain has ravaged crops, destroyed eco-systems, and generally been an all-around detriment to both natural and human environments. Acid rain is a term for the chemical bonding of certain industrial chemicals and pollutants with condensed water in the atmosphere that contains precipitation with low Ph., or in other words acid rain. The largest cause of acid rain is sulphur dioxide. Sulphur dioxide is released naturally in the environment through volcanoes, decomposing organic material, and sea spray. The natural occurrence of sulphur dioxide accounts for roughly 45% of all emissions, while industrial, transportation, and other man-created sources account for the rest of the emissions
Most Pollution involved chemical spills; various chemical spills throughout the US were identified. The fact that so many companies are having such drastic spills shows that they just don't care enough or aren't trying hard enough. Chemical
secret. Her study began with chicken embryos, that then expanded the location to Washington University in Saint Louis with Dr. Viktor Hamburger, there they found a protein that, when released by cells, attracted a nerve growth from cells around it that are developing. The chicken embryos had demonstrated that the brain can "regenerate" itself. She also did studies and test with Dr. Stanley Cohen at Washington University where she stayed for more then twenty years. She describes this as "one of…
demonstrates that various First Nations native people occupied the island of Montreal as early as 4,000 years ago.[29] By the year AD 1000, they had started to cultivate maize. Within a few hundred years, they had built fortified villages.[30] The Saint Lawrence Iroquoians, a people distinct from the Iroquois nations of the Haudenosaunee then based in present-day New York, established the village of Hochelaga at the foot of Mount Royal two centuries before the French arrived. Archeologists have found…
greater part of these countries which is now called Australian".[9] These drawings depict the Mongoloid race as devised by Thomas Henry Huxley taken from the 11th edition of the Encyclopædia Britannica (1903). In 1861, Isidore Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire added the Australian as a secondary race (subrace) of the principal race of Mongolian.[10] In the nineteenth century Georges Cuvier used the term Mongolian again as a racial classification, but additionally included American Indians under the…
