The topic I will be discussing will focus on is a deployment plan for WDAs and designing an effective user interface for wireless devices. In my paper I will outline a technique for quantifying design and quality assurance for wireless development. The example I will use is a WAP application, you can use the same set of principles and mathematical models to quantify other types of mobile and wireless applications. The WAP Model
WAP is a little different than web model; there is always a gateway server active between the user agent and the content server. It is basically the same as the web model except that the WAP Model also uses WML files as well. The information that is sent is all done with WAP protocols. The gateway compiles all of the data and sends it back to your mobile device and the web browser on your mobile device displays it to the devices screen. Here are a few example s of WAP.

The WAP Stack
The WAP stack is all of the stages put together it takes care of all the processes at one time. Since mobile devices are so small and lack the power of a regular computer the WAP has been layered to make the device flexible and scalable for the device. Here is a diagram of a WAP stack to help understand all of the processes that are being executed. The WAP stack has five different layers that make it possible for the devices to execute all of the processes. These layers consist of the application layer, session layer, transaction layer, transport layer and the security layer.
Application layer – “The WAE and the WTA are the interfaces that run the device which controls the description and script languages of all the application.” (protocols.com)
Session Layer – This layer is between the application layer and the transaction layer. The
