Why Have I Chosen International Business? I have always had a curiosity to other regions in the world. I am always interested and have a tremendous respect for people from all works of life. Getting to know and see how other civilizations exist. I could pursue a degree in History, Geography, or something similar. Truth is I have more of an analytical mind. I love traveling and my dream job will have me traveling and interacting with people from other countries and regions in a business capacity. I have my Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. I had to be honest with myself, I find Accounting extremely boring. Most of the time, in Accounting, you don’t interact much with others outside of your department or the company you work for unless you are an external Auditor. My interest over the past ten years has been on Global issues. I spend my free time reading magazines like Foreign Policy, African Report, Monocle, etc. Growing up, my Father traveled quite a lot on business trips and I always admired that. I lived in a French speaking country for a few years and would someday like to put ability to communicate in French into good use. I attended the International Community School of Abidjan, in Cote D’Ivoire. It was there that I started to have an appreciation for people of different background. We live in a Global world today. From a Financial and even a political aspect, what happens in one part of the world has an effect on what happens in another
