Enter from the top of the Showcase T-Bar, or experts can use the Spanky’s Ladder entrance, accessed from the top of the Glacier Express. Designated runs in this area are located within Blackcomb Glacier Provincial Park and are managed under a Park Use Permit for the purposes of snow and avalanche control. Avalanche danger exists when closures are in effect and blasting may be in progress.

When the sun is shining, slap on the sunscreen and head for Heaven. Take skiers’ left for panoramic cruising and amazing across-the-valley views of Whistler Mountain. To return to the Rendezvous, stay to skiers’ right on Green Line.

Access to Flute Bowl from the Symphony Express, Harmony Express or Peak Express chairs. Visibility and conditions in Flute Bowl can change rapidly. When in doubt, follow piste trail markers. Please follow all posted signs for boundary notification.

For guests looking to explore the slack country accessible from Whistler Blackcomb there are a number of resources available from free avalanche awareness tours to guided backcountry skiing experiences with professionals and coaches who will share techniques and tactics to hone your skiing, boost your safety knowledge, and heighten your awareness in big mountain terrain. Garibaldi Provincial Park is a wilderness area and is not patrolled or avalanche controlled. Steep slopes and chutes are prone to avalanche hazards. Persons outside the Whistler Blackcomb ski area boundary who are not prepared for backcountry travel and self rescue could be charged for rescue costs.
