This flea market, across from Eastern Market, boasts crafts, clothes, antiques, salvaged goods, jewelry, rugs...just everything. It's in a parking lot across from Eastern Market and is held every Saturday and Sunday between roughly 9am-5pm. I always find fun antiques and salvaged goods here, but there is also some bad crafts. Worth a look if you come down for the wonderful produce at Eastern Market!

The National Museum of Natural History Hosts a Variety of Exhibits
Two of the most profound permanent exhibits are The David. H. Koch Hall of Human Origins which tells the story of human evolution over 6 million years and The Sant Ocean Hall which highlights and explores marine life. Recent temporary exhibits have included a display of the Hope Diamond and Exploring the World of Butterflies.
Admission Varies in the Museum Depending on Guest and Features
Entering from the hall brings an astounding surprise as a giant African Elephant greets you. The first floor is filled with natural wonders from mammals to dinosaurs and The Ocean Hall with the Imax Theater in between. Shows cost extra. Smithsonian members get a discount while seniors pay eight dollars, Children are $7.50 and adults pay nine dollars for admission. Feature film screenings are more expensive. All tickets can be purchased online.
