Teamwork
At least once in your lifetime you will work in a team, whether it is at school, at work or with your significant other. It will be challenging, exciting, and at the end all worth it. I read the following quote by Vince Lombardi, “Individual commitment to a group effort – that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work,” and I can genuinely relate it to my team. We are all different individuals that come from different backgrounds but at the same time I feel our individual commitment to this group will make us succeed.
We all bring unique qualities which helps balance us out. However, I believe we all have strengths and weaknesses. My strengths are creativity, open-minded, and determination. I am a creative individual which loves to design and create new things. I am always working on projects and my biggest reward is the end result. I am an easygoing person that enjoys listening to others opinions and take into account what they feel and believe. My family always tells me how I am determined to get things done, and I think the reason why I feel persistence is important to me, is because I feel that others are counting on me to finish the job.
But with strengths come weaknesses and some of my flaws are time, public speaking and writing. I work full-time and am also a full-time student, which makes it a bit harder to try to manage my time wisely. I have a fear of speaking in front of people. I get nervous, stutter and even forget words. Through writing I have a difficulty of explaining things. I know what I want to say it’s just hard for me to get my word across.
Because my strengths will overcome my weaknesses, determination will be my greatest advantage to make them less noticeable. I will need to make my work and school schedule flexible to the benefit of my client and team to make this project effective. To get over my public speaking fear I will
