In 1776 the Declaration of Independence was created. It was created to explain to the nations why the colonies were separated from Great Britain. Thomas Jefferson, Roger Sherman, Robert Livingston, Benjamin Franklin, and John Adams were all a part of this act, But Thomas Jefferson was chosen to draft the letter. There are five parts to the Declaration of Independence. The Statement of Human Rights, Preamble, Charges against human rights, Charges against the King and Parliament, and The State of Separation and Signatures. These parts are very important to the constitution. Without these five most important parts there is no declaration of Independence. All these parts are very important because without one of these parts then the whole Declaration does not add up. The first part of the declaration of independence is the statement of human rights .This first part of the declaration of independence is that all men are and were created equally. With this part it makes the federal government from depriving any person of life, liberty or property without due process of law. Also this first part allows you the freedom that the government cannot deprive you of. Any specific religion you believe in, you have the right of your own state of belief and thought. These parts are all very important because without one of these parts, the main point of this declaration cannot have been stated.
