Phil Robertson started the company after making duck calls for 25 years out of cedar trees. Son Willie Robertson then became CEO of the company taking command of his brothers Jep and Jase, and a couple of friend’s that work there. “Duck Dynasty” is a very funny reality television show from Si Robertson saying erotic sayings to Willie being made fun of and that’s a fact jack! The reality television series is an example of the American dream for hunters all across the nation and most everywhere you go you will see the family beards and people trying to be like the Robertson family. The show “Duck Dynasty” is about bringing your family together even though you disagree sometimes. Sometimes, it’s downright laugh-so-hard-you-fall-off-the-couch-hilarious. But only if you can laugh at yourself. The show is a layed back kind of show. It’s just a family that has money to throw around and be funny about it. As everyone knows Si almost seems like a confused character but in all reality is smart. From drinking his ice tea to saying quotes that make no sense like this, "I'm the master of distractions. A couple of hand gestures and BAM! I'll pull the underwear clean of your butt." Si Robertson. Si is also known for goofing around and playing around in the warehouse. Willie is the third oldest out of the four brothers and also the more serious one. Jep and Jase like to play tricks on Willie because they know it irritates him. Willie now owns Duck Commander after replacing his father Phil Robertson. Willie and his brothers started a trend with the ZZ Top style beard. People say that the Robertsons are just a bunch of trashy rednecks, but what they don’t realize is that the Robertson family is extremely wealthy and know how to have fun. The Robertson family is a family that believes in god fully and pray every night at dinner with Miss Kay cooking it all. They show this prayer at the end of every show. The whole family eats together every night and prays every night. This can make a huge impact on people to make beliefs and stick with them or inspire people to become successful. Let’s face it, when most of us watch Duck Dynasty, we see them doing stuff we wish we had the guts to do — walk out of work to go fishing, duck tape younger brothers to warehouse poles, spend $2,000 at a kids pizza place all day — well, maybe that’s just me. The point is we all have stuff we’d like to say or do, but can’t find the courage to say or do. For the Robertsons, courage doesn’t seem to be the problem. Stupidity, maybe. But not the courage to take risks and see what happens.
