Experiment 1:
Aim:
The objective of the monometer experiment was to calculate the velocity change inside a tapered venture tube when a constant mass/volume flow rate is applied to the apparatus. In order to most accurately calculate the change in velocity, two height measurements from the monometers would have to be recorded (preferable, one located before the tube is narrowed and one at most narrow location), then applied to a manipulated Bernoulli's equation.

Apparatus:
The apparatus used during the experiment were monometer tubes positioned at various parts of the tapered venture tube. The monometer had readings of which the user could read the height the fluid reaches. The images below shows the apparatus.

Results:
The results that were recorded were the height measurements shown on the monometer. The diameters of the tubes of the monometers were also recorded. Below is a table of results.

After this part of the experiment was constructed, another set of results were obtained from the same apparatus. These results were obtained by recording the time at which dissipation of the fluid occurs over specific volumes. Table below shows the results.
