Things down here in the South have been hard; those Northerners with all of the industrialization think that while they are smart and efficient with all of their new products that can be made twice as fast, we down in the South actually have to grow and pick our own food and products for our farming and economic growth.The thing is we thought the Northerns thought we are doing something bad by owning slaves because they want slavery to be banned. Since it is already banned in the North while us here in the South want to keep slavery because the slaves help us with the fields and the best thing about owning at least one slave is that we don't have to pay them. There are only about ⅓ of us that own at least one slave,1/10 that own 20+ slaves because they were the wealthiest and the more powerful people in the South with their massive plantations.The rest of the people can just hope that one day that they could own slaves that would work in the field, so they can get more money and products that could get
