Decisions are made every day regardless if the outcome is big or small. There is some difficulty when making a decision. May an individual can make the wrong choice if the decision isn't being approached from as many angles as there should be. If the decision is being analyzed, then the individual won’t be able to choose the most reasonable course of action.
The role of deductive reasoning is to be a part of the process of decision making. When used in arguments and decision making, deductive reasoning is used as a guideline to present factual evidence. This also provides additional support for the conclusion of the decision-making process. Another role of deductive reasoning is to state a credible and factual conclusion when making a decision.
The process of deductive reasoning involves understanding how an individual will make a decision based on the premises that are at hand. To make a proper decision, the individual must present facts that are valid. This leads to the individual thinking critically about the situation. Taking the time to think seriously about every scenario before a final decision is made, prevents quick decisions or judgments from happening.
The arguments that were presented in the material displays why it is imperative to understand all of the facts before making a decision. For instance, Chris felt the need to ask for a raise simply because he does
