The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, the sequel to The Hunger Games, cast include: Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Liam Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, and Sam Claflin as Finnick Odair. It takes place in Panem which represents a dystopia United States, and is split into 12 districts based on different characteristic and abilities of the district. It is an adventure, sci- fi, thriller and action pact movie.?

Following Katniss and Peeta victory of the 74th hunger game, they have been a target of the capital as a sign of hope and rebellion and must be taken out. On the tour to each district to meet the families of the ones that died, they cause and see the rebellion they have started, and are forced to comply as directed or there will be consequences. Katniss personal life is also on edge as she in stuck in a love triangle between sweet Peeta, the one who saved her life, or Gale who has always been there for her. President Snow calls for the 3rd quarter half hunger games, and so Peeta and Katniss must once again reenter the arena against the male and female victors of the past hunger games. Entering the training arena they witness everyone’s skills whether it is strength, intelligence or accuracy they know the only way to win is to make allies. As they make their way through each day with trustable allies, and face dangers such as acid smoke, killer bamboos, and other players, never knowing who would betray them, or who will make it out.

The majority of the movie set design has unrealistic objects such as the spacecraft they ride to the hotel they stay in, and so movie effects are happening constantly. Using green screens they make backgrounds such as the rain forest, the magnificent castle president snow stays in, the gray fog that surrounds and attack them to the weapons they used, all the while making it look realistic.
