The BAO Business Reference Data and Reporting Developer is responsible for designing and developing in a large data warehouse environment (Star Schema designs); ETL; Analytics and Reporting; Informatica PowerCenter development (preferably v9); BusinessObjects (including WebIntelligence) development, using BusinessObjects XI; and configuring security via CMC (preferably v4.0). The Business Reference Data and Reporting developer must have full life-cycle SW development experience involving design, coding, configuration, and code reviews in support and development of SW based applications. Consultants will be located in an IBM office in the metropolitan area or at an IBM client site. Generally projects and clients are within the Metro area and require very limited travel outside of the local area. However, some projects do require up to 100% travel for an extended period of time that is generally less than 1 year. - Leads functional and technical aspects of the delivery of SAP BI solutions & related components: interfaces, conversions, HW/SW oversight (selection/sizing/configuration recommendation & execution).
- Understands business challenges & translates them into requirements/solutions
- Provides Solution Performance (analysis/tuning) and works across business/technology teams to ensure alignment between business solution definition & systems architecture for the organization.
