1. Extension
The bending of a joint so that the bones forming the joint are moved farther apart or straightened.
2. Flexion
The bending of a joint so that the bones forming the joint are brought closer together. 3. Adduction

Movement of a limb toward the midline of the body. The opposite of adduction is abduction.

A concentric muscle contraction is a type of muscle activation that increases tension on a muscle as it shortens.

training is defined as active contraction of a muscle occurring simultaneously with lengthening of the muscle. 6. Isometric

Isometric exercises, also known as static strength training, involve muscular actions in which the length of the muscle does not change and there is no visible movement at the joint .

7. Hypertrophy

As it relates to strength and muscle, hypertrophy is simply the enlargement of a muscle belly due to an increase in the size of muscle cells - particularly the muscle's fibres.

_The term intensity refers to how hard you're working during you're workout. Intensity is one of the most important components of your workout program. When you workout at a sufficient intensity, your body grows stronger and you'll see changes in your weight, body fat percentage, endurance and strength.__________________________________________________________________ ______ 10. is the front half of your body such as take a line and go thought your body vertically and cut it in half and this would be the front half when you make that cut & it would be known as the front proportion of your body. 13. Posterior back proportion of body

is the back half of your body such as take a line and go through your body vertical and cut it in half. this would be the back side would be known as the back proportion of your body
14. Supinated Grip
Sprinted grip means palms facing your body. Pronated means palms facing away from your body. And semi­ supinated means palms facing each other. A pull­up uses a pronated grip , palms facing away from your body. Chin­ups use the other two grips 15. Pronated Grip
To turn or rotate (the hand or forearm) so that the palm faces down or back.

16. Alternating Grip
Alternated grip is a barbell grip where one hand is suppinated (palm out) and the other pronated (palm in). Also called alternating grip or over/under grip or mixed grip. For pulling movements such as the deadlift, this grip allows more weight to be held because the alternated grip helps prevent the bar from rotating. Since the tendency of a heavy loaded barbell is to roll toward the ends of the fingers, making it harder to grip, alleviating this rotation allows for more weight to be pulled.
