+Introduction
The business we are proposing to open is a high end sneaker store by the name of Laced Up.The major product in our store will be exclusive sneakers. Our two biggest brands will be Nike and Jordan. Exclusive Nike and Jordans will be in stock all the time and these exclusive shoes will bring in many customers as there is a huge market for them. This will not just be a footlocker or a champs we will be a one of a kind store . We will also have various brands of clothing in men, womens and childrens sizes. The clothing that we keep in stock will also be high end athletic apparel including Nike, UnderArmour, Adidas, etc. This clothing will bring in customers even if they are not looking for a pair of sneakers. We will also have a program where customers will be able to sell sneakers to use that we will buy and then sell in store. The sneakers that we buy will have to be in brand new condition and we will reseal them. The used sneakers will be cheaper then the new pair and also will look just as good.

In planning our business, we have information from our own knowledge on sneakers as we all collect them. We also conducted a survey that was distributed to Northampton Area High School . We choose to distribute our survey there because teens and young adults are our target market. The information that we gathered from this survey helped us understand what our target market would pay and what they think would make our company Laced Up a successful business. This survey also gave us useful demographic information. We have also have done various studies and analysis on the top grossing sneaker stores such as Foot Locker, Champs Sporting Goods, Nike, and Flight Club New York. These studies gave us an idea of what makes them successful. As a small business we would one day like to be on a large scale across the United States
Self- Analysis
We have been sneaker heads for the last three years of high school and have some of the nicest sneakers in the school. We are always online looking at the latest and greatest sneakers. So when we open our business we will be able to have the best sneakers and know that we will sell them and not worry about cutting prices because we can't sell a sneaker. Since we are in high school we see all the kinds of shoes that are peers buy and wear so we will be able to have the right product for our target market. Between the three of use we have taken every business class that are school has to offer. Some of the classes we have taken are Marketing, Retailing, Sports marketing, intro to business, and entrepreneurship. Also we are located in a perfect place for our business because in allentown there is a semi pro baseball team and soon to be a semi pro ice hockey team. Some of our weakness are we do not have all the contacts to get some of the elite shoes that some people will pay top dollar for. We think we can make this business work because there is no other sneaker store like this in the Lehigh Valley and if we can get our name out there we think we will have great potential and make out good in the end with a successful business.
Trading area analysis

We intend to build Laced Up in the City of Allentown. They are in the process of building a new hockey arena and also building new shopping centers for small businesses like ours to move in. The City of Allentown would be a good place for our business because there is many different cultures, and also it is the third largest city in PA so there would be a lot of potential for the store that we are trying to create. Also Allentown is going to be constantly growing because they have a Minor league baseball team the ironpigs, and with the new Minor league hockey team the Phantoms coming in it will have a lot of potential. In the area the high end sneaker industry is large because a lot of the kids like to have the nicest shoes that go along with their clothing. The only problem is there is no store for people to walk in and buy high end
