Help and Guidance is always available

Help and Guidance

At your college you have all your help and guidance you will need to help you select a course that is right for you and that will help you for the future.
You will be able to get any help and guidance from the Info Zone they will help you find the right course and give you all the information that you need to know about what it involves and how to enrol. You can also speak to Lectures at the college who can help answer any questions or queries you may have about the course.
Once you are on the course your teacher will help and support you throughout.

14-16

Your College are working in partnership with several high schools in the region and offer vocational qualifications to school students aged 14-16, enabling curriculum choice at key stage 4.
By working in partnership with schools they have given students the opportunity to help choose a career pathway and support a seamless transition into post 16 education and training and employment.
Parents evenings are held throughout the year to provide feedback on the students progress keeping the parents up to date with their learning.

Leap Program

The Leap Program is the college, working alongside the local authority and the schools, to help significantly reduce the number of young people not in education, employment and training when they leave school. It involves younger students who for a variety of reasons no longer attend mainstream school. These students access a range of vocational program‘s alongside functional skills classes which include IT, Literacy and Maths . there are excellent progression pathways to help further learning and apprenticeships.
