Experiment one
I came to believe that the closer that the object get, the greater the lens curvature. The larger the eye shape, the further the object must be to focus. The larger the eye, the greater the lens shape must be. I hypothesized that near sightedness develops when a person has a smaller eye shape and far sightedness develops when a person has a larger eye shape, like a football.
Experiment two
The experiment I am going to write about is experiment two, which is titled Sensory Receptors in the Skin. The hypothesis that our group came up with was that the distribution amongst sensory receptor must influence one’s perception. This experiment will test the hypothesis by having one person be a volunteer to be tested. One person from the group will test that person, by using a gauge. When using this gauge one pushes down on the volunteer’s skin until they say what feels like one point. Once we see where they say to stop, we record it in our lab manuals. I predicted that the volunteer will say that the gauge feels like it’s one point when the points aren’t even close, resulting in a long distance read. The hypothesis was supported by the results, because there was a long distance that we recorded for the majority of the measurements. For the most part, the measurements were either far or medium, and that is what I predicted in the first place, and it was in the hypothesis. The evidence that my conclusion was correct was that we measured eleven out of the seventeen measurements were far or medium, which shows that the hypothesis was supported. Chart below.
