Good morning Scholarship committee,
Thank you for taking the time to consider my application for scholarship. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself.
My name is Amanni Sitz, I am a senior at Fallsburg High School and am planning to go one to film production with a side of technology. My thinking here is that if the ultimate dream of being in film production does not come to be at least I will have the technology to fall back on.
I was born in Brooklyn and lived there with my parents until my birthday at the age of 4 when my father was killed in a fire. After that everything in my life changed. My beloved father was gone and I was left with my brother and my mom – both I am blessed to have in my life today.
My mom was keeping the family going and going – she always found a way for us to have everything possible, she denied us nothing – and she was there involved in everything we did – she was there for me to talk about anything and everything – I so value our relationship. My brother has Asperger’s Syndrome but is so high functioning I am amazed at some of the things he can think of to do – just incredible – so this is my family of very creative and supportive people – pretty good, if I say so myself.
My biggest goal was to beat my mom in career success and academic success – which she says I have already. She encourages me to speak my mind but think first – a sill Im told that takes a lifetime to accomplish so this is a work in
