April 6, 2012 An enigma is a person or a thing that is mysterious, puzzling, and a difficult to understand. Another word for enigma is mystery, puzzle or riddle. Some examples of enigmas are the Bermuda Triangle, the Lost Colony of Roanoke Island, the Last Civilization of Atlantis, the Mystery of Stonehenge, the Pyramids, and the Nazca Lines.
