Film Project Neshoba: The Price of Freedom is a historical documentary which was released in 2008. The documentary was written and produced by Micki Dickoff, with production help from Tony Pagano. The main issue in the film is when two members of the Ku Klux Klan, also known as the KKK, are set free after murdering three men. Today, one would think that it would be absolutely absurd for someone to be let off the hook for murder. However, in Neshoba, the men were released when a jury could not come to a verdict. Racial discrimination plays a major role in the film, and is the main conflict that causes problems throughout society. Neshoba is a quiet county in Mississippi. In 1964, the Ku Klux Klan captured three men after being arrested for speeding. The three men who were captured were found murdered after a meticulous search. Despite evidence, the members of the Ku Klux Klan who played a role in the murders of the three men, they were let off the hook when the jury could not come to a verdict. The movie argues that the members of the Ku Klux Klan were not served justice and the trial was not fair. Again, racial discrimination is the main conflict that causes concern in the plot of the documentary. Several individuals are impacted by this issue. The men, who were captured, obviously were murdered. Their families had to suffer not only from the loss of their loved ones, but also with the fact that the members of the Ku Klux Klan were released from captivity and not served the justice that the victims’ families wanted. The Ku Klux Klan members were also affected. Though they did not necessarily care, due to the fact that they were always out on the hunt for people, they still had to suffer from being held captive during their trial. One would assume that the entire process for the KKK members was a very tiring process that came with much anxiety. In society, those who supported the Ku Klux Klan and their practices made the unethical choice to do so. Even though they may have thought that they were participating in activities that wrong for taking part in racial discrimination. Those who chose to fight against the Ku Klux Klan were those who were making the right ethical choices. They realized that the racial discrimination taking place was a wrong-doing of every individual who was participating. In my opinion, I absolutely think that people should watch this movie. Neshoba shows how people were very prejudice towards other groups of ethnicity. The movie conveys the idea of how blacks were treated wrongly because of the color of their skin. It shows how those of color were still the same as everyone else, and how you should not judge people by the color of their skin, but by their characteristics and personalities. I really enjoyed watching this movie because it was a very inspirational and motivational film. It shows the two sides of racial discrimination very well. One aspect of the movie that I thoroughly enjoyed was that it did not leave you hanging like most movies do. The directors did a great job letting the movie unfold itself, and not skip any parts of the full story. I did not find this film to be biased. The directors showed how

you commit yourself to. This way of thinking really reflects on the type of writing process I endure. While writing I really focus on how I want to identify myself, what questions I wish to discover, and how this idea might change me. To begin my paper I use an outline. On this outline at the top of the page I write my main topic that I wish to write about. After I have created the topic, I then write a list of ideas that relate to what I want to talk about. Out of the ten ideas I create I choose…

cannot think or act on its own. There is currently no treatment for MLD, and because of that, Anthony has become what many people would consider a “vegetable”, essentially brain dead but still functioning bodily. Because of this, because I really just cannot bear to witness another beautiful kid be destroyed by his own genotype and because its happening far…
