Arguments:
The article is about the representation of art pieces that placed in the museum at home and abroad. The importance of the art pieces is based on its cultural difference. The collection of the art pieces abroad are somewhat depend on its curator. Most of the time, the collections that are presented in the museum are to educate people and provide knowledge for culture and social change. They are two different types of collections that are being presented in the museum. Ethnographic collections consists of objects that explorers, missionaries, merchants, anthropologist, or other individuals happened to have through gift, barter, seizure, or purchased and which were taken back to the home countries of their collectors. History collections are different; it is considered historical because of the originality and its ordinary way. To differentiate the ethnographic and history collections are its importance of the representation to the society and the impact within. The ceremonial objects and clothes are the most common representation that being offered at home-museum because it is more sensitive and could be related directly to the society. The audience for the museum is varies. So, the way in representing the art pieces with the historical meaning is very important to gain curiosity.
