There are three different types of decision-making in a company: strategic decisions, tactical decisions, operational decisions, programmed decisions, and non-programed decisions. There is an immense difference between strategic decisions and tactical decisions. Owners or board of directors makes strategic decisions. This type of decision affects the long-term direction of the business, such as whether to take over Company A or Company B. In the other hand, managers make tactical decisions. Tactical decisions medium-term decisions are mostly about how to implement strategy, such as what kind of marketing to have, or how many extra staff to recruit. Nevertheless, there are also another three types of decisions. Operational decisions are short-term decisions about how to implement the tactics, such as which delivering company is best for delivering services. Programed decisions are the decisions always follow the same routines, but also they can be recorded as tapes or even computer codes. Non-programed decisions are neither standard nor routine. Each decision has a difference than the previous one. Despite the fact that every decision is different, you have to provide different information to each one of them. Therefore, you have to provide: objective function, constraints, a range of alternative courses of action, forecasting, application, and choices. You can normally ascertain the information you need through Internet resources.
There is lot of resources on the Internet. You can detect almost everything on it. However, it is required for you to differentiate each source. First, you have to acquire the name of the source. You have to determine the credibility of this source. Second, you have to compare one of your resources to other resources you find on the Internet. Therefore, you can know the credibility of your information and use it. Sometimes news resources and rumors are often similar. From this point, you have to distinguish whether the news is true or fake by your critical thinking. You cannot trust everything found on the Internet. You have to identify each one of them by using your own thoughts and ways. Also you have to identify the popularity of
