Throughout the process of completing this project, I have further enhanced my ability to preform many skills, as well as learn about the lives of two famous authors. I have learned history, organizational concepts, analytical skills, my personal difficulties, as well as my successes. I learned about the lives of Anne Bradstreet and Jonathan Edwards. I learned that Anne was a Puritan and Jonathan was a Christian. I found out that Anne is originally from England. She got married and had eight children. She is also one of the first successful female writers of the New World. Jonathan Edwards started Yale at the age of 13. He was considered to be a child prodigy. He was also into politics theology, and obviously religion. Organizational concepts I learned mostly pertained to compare and contrast. The concept of this project was to inform about two different peoples views, and with this, the views were different, but had their similarities. Another thing I got to enhance on was my ability to organize my points. Structure was a very crucial part of this project. This project required me to be able to analyze a set of poems and a sermon. The types of literature used back in those times were written is an almost different type of English so comprehending the work could be difficult for some people.
