Conflict within recreational league

If I was running an all women softball league and I had a person come to me to tell me that they were a transgender and they wanted to play in this women’s softball league, it would definitely leave me in a sticky situation. This question would take a lot of thinking and a difficult choice. The key to my question for the person coming to me would be, “did the surgery already take place?” If not then it would have to be a no until the surgery wouldn’t have happened yet and the women might have some problems with a still “man” being on their softball team. If the surgery had already happened, then I feel this would skew my opinion to the yes option. My reasoning for this is because if the operation has happened then im sure that the person has been through other operations that make the male hormones in the body decrease and the question would be more reasonable. I as the director, wouldn’t think that it was right to refuse someone to their rights, especially after the operation had taken place and in that persons mind, they were already a women. When defending my position it would all fall back to the rights to the person. Everyone has the right to do what they want to do, whether they think they are a man or a woman. This would make the my decision a little tough to come across but I think I could meet the right answer at the end of the day. Before making the decision I would make sure to do my research before I
