oversees the grant proposal and report writing processes for all Global Rights’ programs. Jeff’s experience in international affairs and human rights has included positions at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI), the U.S. House of Representatives, and the U.S. State Department. Prior to joining Global Rights, Jeff was the Communications Manager for USAID’s largest assistance program, International Relief and Development (IRD) in Kabul, Afghanistan. While leading the Afghanistan communications unit at IRD, he managed USAID-state-military relationships in fifteen provinces and redesigned the structure of IRD’s donor communications and stakeholder engagement. Prior thereto, Jeff was a Program Officer at NDI where he oversaw grant proposals and provided support to NDI’s democracy and governance programs in the Eurasia region. As a Rotary Scholar of Goodwill, Jeff completed his M.A. in Political Science from Central European University in Budapest, Hungary.
