Introductory Paragraph Anxiety is a cruel disorder to someone’s life. I’m going to go ahead and let you know what anxiety does to people and how it makes their life different. I’m going to go start with the symptoms of anxiety. I’m going to take it from there and talk about anxiety. At the end of the paper I will also tell you want helps control your anxiety and how to live with anxiety. The cause of anxiety is stress. If you are over stressed you will start having small anxiety attacks. At first you might not notice them because they will start small. When you do start noticing the attacks you will be kind of nervous because you won’t understand what is going on. If you can lower your stress level then you can really control your anxiety attacks. There are also a lot of other things that can cause anxiety attacks. Like for me I believe that I have generalized anxiety disorder. The definition of generalized anxiety disorder is the unnecessary worry about something even when there is nothing to provoke it. This is the problem I have. My husband always tells me to stop worrying about things that have no need to worry about and he is usually right but I just can’t help that issue. When there is a problem that I worry about that is unnecessary my husband is also good about making it better by showing me that there is no reason to worry. Most of the time I feel a lot better after he does this for me. Anxiety also has a lot of different types of disorders for example; OCD (Obsessive Compulsion Disorder) is a disorder that some people have. I have seen people that have this problem and it has to do with washing their hands. They have to wash their hands like five times in a row after using the restroom. Or there are people who cannot step on a crack to save their own lives. They must walk around them or make sure they do whatever they can not to step on a crack. I know it sounds weird but this disorder can destroy somebody’s life. It makes their working area hard to work in and is hard to find friends that don’t think you are a weirdo.
