My topic is the One-Child Policy. I learned a lot from this topic. We are very fortunate to be able to have kids and not care if it’s a boy or twins. I chose my subject because I thought it’d be interesting. It interests me because people should be able to have children without worrying if it’s a boy or a girl, or twins. They should be able to have children without having a limit. Another reason I chose this topic is because of how it affects the women. The women are affected greatly by forced abortions, having to abandon the child, or being physically-emotionally abused by their husband, family, or friends. I made my project by getting a poster board from Craft Corner. After that, I typed up all my information and printed them and my pictures. Then I chose certain papers to glue them to before I glued them to my poster, to make it stick out more. My subject fit’s the theme because women have the right to be able to have however many children they want without anything happening to them or the infant. They are responsible enough to take care of themselves and the baby. They shouldn’t have to deal with forced abortions or sterilizations because they want another child, or accidentally get pregnant. The Government shouldn’t be responsible for the women having children, they should be responsible for making sure everything runs properly and they’re doing their job not depriving children or families from memories or a better life.
