1.0 Personal Development Plan
Personal development plan (PDP) is the process of crafting an action plan based on self-awareness, self-reflection, goal-setting and planning for personal development within the context of a career, education, or for self-improvement (Smith, 2011).
In the context of business studies, PDP can be seen as the plan of personal strength and weakness appraisal which enable business scholar to evaluate the value of leadership and management training that they have been through and act as a future leadership development program.
By working on the PDP, it helps students to increase self-awareness, identify the skills and experience that one owned, and those that one need, as well as creating a plan to acquire the skills

1.1 Personal Analysis
PDP helps to bring students one step closer to achieve their dreams and aspirations, by helping them to enhance the skills needed (The University of Sydney, 2016).
Before starting to plan the development plan, student must be able to clarify the strength and weakness owned, as well as to identify the opportunity and other factors that could have an impact on the goals.
1.1.1 SWOT Analysis
SWOT analysis is used in organisation to assess its internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as the external opportunities and threats it faces (Gorgenlander, 2011).
However, in the context of personal analysis, SWOT is a tool to analyse individual strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
Generally, strengths and opportunity helps students to identify the potential in their personal goals. Weaknesses and threats, however, are the elements that need to manage, mitigate, avoid or plan forward, to ensure that the goals remain achievable.
The personal SWOT analysis has been done as shown in Table 1.

The conscientiousness describes to what extent that one is organised, strategic and forward-planning. Extroversion describes to what extent one is inclined to experience positive emotions, sociable, and energized by social interaction. Agreeableness describes whether one is concerned about the feelings of others and how easily bonded with people. Moreover, emotional stability identify how one react to perceived threats and stressful situations. Lastly, openness to experience outline to what extent one is receptive to novel ideas, curious, creative, and potential thrill-seeker (BBC, 2016).
The test has been completed during the lecture as the result is shown in Table 2 and the test question is attached at the Appendix 1.
As the result of the test, conscientiousness is on the top of the scale, followed by openness to experience, emotional stability, agreeableness, and lastly
