How can I personally reduce prejudice in my workplace?
Introduction
Prejudice is hurtful, destructive and degenerating. Prejudice is driven by ignorance and stereotyping and will, unfortunately, continue to be around in organizations and society in general, for the foreseeable future. But that does not mean we should give up on eradicating it.
In the following, I will discuss the negative impact Prejudice has on society in general and organizations in particular.

Prejudice arises from the ordinary and unconscious tendency to make associations; it is distinct from conscious forms of prejudice, such as overt racism or sexism (Banaji, et al.,
2003) and is influencing us all in our daily lives.

I believe none of us can claim us to be free from prejudice when reflecting on the above.
