SEE CLASS CALENDAR FOR YOUR ORAL REPORT DUE DATE!!!

PROCEDURE FOR ORAL REPORTS

1. You may use any source for your oral report EXCEPT textbook or class notes. You must use more than Wikipedia.

2. At the conclusion of your oral report, make sure that you (the presenter) list and/or explain five (5) items that you believe could show up on a quiz or test, or AP Exam. You, the audience member, will need to keep these five items in your class notebook at the proper place (based on time period or subject). I will ask questions from these sheets on quizzes (regular or bonus questions). These sheets are also to refresh your memory as you prepare for the AP US Exam.

3. Make sure that you have an extra copy of your oral report to give me on the day that you present to the class. This sheet helps me with quiz questions and assists me in assigning a grade for your report.

4. The oral report is to last for only five minutes. Those five minutes includes your summary and any questions from your classmates.

5. You should use a poster, costume, drawing, Power Point, etc. as your visual. A power point or drawing is very important for battles (showing troop movements). Only use Power Points as a method to show pictures, cartoons, charts, etc. Do not use them as a source for text and do not read the Power Point to your classmates! If you have a flash drive, you should bring it with you on the day of your report.
