Apple to begin iPhone trade in this month

The forces of change took place because arch rival Samsung were bringing in new product and capturing the market share of apple and due to this, Apple’s product (iPhone) demand was going down. Also apple wants to grow there in store trade which will generate more cash payment.

2 – The level at which change is taking place (organizational, group, individual)
The level at which the change is taking place is on an organizational level as a new process is brought in to enhance the market value of the organization. 3 – The proposed intervention
Apple decided that they will bring “Trade-in program” so that they increase the sale of their new iPhone and capture the market space

4 – The intended outcome
The “Trade-in program” will help bolster the demand for expensive new models and also help compete against competition from arch rival Samsung. Apple is also focusing on there in store trade which will bring payment versus just store credit.

Whole Foods faces boycott over English-only work policy

1 - The Forces for change at work in the business / organizational environment.
The forces of change took place because Whole Foods Market were threatened with a national boycott over its English-only language policy from workers on the job and New Mexico League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) civil right groups. This outraged happened because two Spanish speaking worker were suspended because they were complaining against English only work policy.

2 – The level at which change is taking place (organizational, group, individual)
The level at which the change is taking place is on an individual level because individual’s are directly affected by the change in norms or policy. 3 – The proposed intervention
Whole foods Market is examining the policy and trying to reframe the policy and it will be discussing issue and policy in all leadership conference next week.

4 – The intended outcome
Whole Foods Market is trying to reframe the policy of “English only work policy” to resolve the problem with its worker on job and civil right groups like LULAC so that there is no national wide boycott against Whole foods Market, which will destroy companies reputation.
