Who or What influenced American Democratic System the Most?

American Democratic System developed by several ideas. American Democratic System influenced by ancient Greece, the Roman Empire, and the Enlightenment period philosophers. However, I believe that John Locke influenced the American Democratic System the most. He was born on August 29, 1632, in Warington, a village in Somerset, England. He began by studying medicine science. He exile to Holland because he wrote book that challenged kings authority which was freedom of religion and rights of citizens. He returned back to England after Glorious Revolution. After he came back to England, he was supportive to form of government and also wrote book "Two Treaties of Civil Government." John Locke influenced American Democratic System by people are the source of power, form governments to protect their rights, and people are born with certain "natural" and "inalienable" rights. He rejected the idea that kings had a divine right to rule. He believe that people are equal and has same rights. People should be the authority of the power and it led to voting rights.
