Who or What influenced American Democratic System the Most?

American Democratic System developed by several ideas. American Democratic System influenced by ancient Greece, the Roman Empire, and the Enlightenment period philosophers. However, I believe that John Locke influenced the American Democratic System the most. He was born on August 29, 1632, in Warington, a village in Somerset, England. He began by studying medicine science. He exile to Holland because he wrote book that challenged kings authority which was freedom of religion and rights of citizens. He returned back to England after Glorious Revolution. After he came back to England, he was supportive to form of government and also wrote book "Two Treaties of Civil Government."
