The journal’s name is “Social entrepreneurship and complexity models” from chapter four of the book “Complexity Science & Social entrepreneurship”. This paper talks about the relationship between social entrepreneurship and complexity models. Entrepreneurship has the power to transform society to a much greater degree than is commonly believed. In addition, leaders and managers play different roles in organizations. From my point of view, I totally agree with all points in the paper. Social Entrepreneurship is a complex model in economic and social entrepreneurship always involved different types of complex models. The paper can separate two parts---firstly, this paper initially presents a systems informed definition of social entrepreneurship with an emphasis on the characteristics of social entrepreneurial ventures. In the second part, it outlines different types of complex models related to social enterprise and then talks about general implications of complexity for leadership of social enterprise.

1. The definition of social entrepreneurship and characteristics of social entrepreneurial ventures
In this part, it gives us the definition of social entrepreneurship, the definition of entrepreneur, the definition of successful entrepreneurship, the definition of social entrepreneurship, the different of entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurship and forth. Social entrepreneurship: definition and characteristics---gives us the definition of social entrepreneurship, entrepreneur, successful entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship. In addition, it also talks about six characteristics of social entrepreneurship and effect of social entrepreneurship.

I think it hard to make a definition of social entrepreneurship because it’s so abstract. The paper gives a preceded definition to help us understand social entrepreneurship. Social entrepreneurship is the so-called social organizations, such as business, non-profit organizations, and so on, in the course of business, the value of social economic value of the process of integration in a creative way. Social entrepreneurship combines passion for social mission with an image of business-like discipline, and innovation. Social enterprise is not a business or social service. It is a business, which uses commercial operations to earn profit and then contribution to society. In this article, social enterprise’s profits can support the vulnerable, such as unemployed; protect environment, promoting community development, and social investment of the enterprise itself. Social enterprises are more attention to social values rather than the pursuit of maximum profit. Here is another definition in the paper: social entrepreneurship is to first establish its congruence with entrepreneurship in profit organization, understanding social entrepreneurship as grounded in an entrepreneurial context, characteristics, and outcomes. If you want to understand the definition if social entrepreneurship deeply, you should understand the definition of entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneurship can be defined as the process of initiating a business venture, organizing the necessary resources, and assuming the risk and rewards. On the positive side, entrepreneurship connotes a special, innate ability to sense and act on opportunity, combining out-of-the-box thinking with a unique brand of determination to create or bring about something new to the world. On the negative part, entrepreneurship activities need time to before their true impact is evidence. Entrepreneur is a person who can use limited resources effectively. Entrepreneur is also a person who is adventurer and innovators.

The paper also talked about successful entrepreneurship. Successful entrepreneurship sets off a chain of reaction encouraging other entrepreneurs to iterate upon and ultimately propagate the innovation to the point of “creative destruction,” a state at which the new venture and all its related ventures effectively render
