Right now Napoleon is one of the most powerful people in all of Europe. He rules over almost all the land expect Portugal , Great Britain, Russia, and other small countries. But he's not done just yet, he's ready to take over the entire continent of Europe, and I'm here to help him succeed. Napoleon wants to spread new ideas such as nationalism, and so far he has done a great job at all of this. I feel that invading Portugal will be our best option in order to expand our empire and hurt Great Britain in the process. My reasons for choosing this are, one-Portugal has a very small and weak army so if we attack them strategically they don't stand a chance. Two, by doing this we will hurt Great Britain by taking out one of their allies and also trading partner. Three, invading Portugal will bring us wealth and more land.
Let me start by saying that the French army is massive and Portugal pales in comparison to our lustrous forces. It would barely take more than a few months to destroy everything that they hold near.
Due to Portugal having a weak army, they will most likely resort to guerrilla warfare, so we have to strike them hard and fast and take them out quickly. There is no chance of them having any help because we control all the areas around them. Great Britain won't be able to help because their troops won't be able to reach them in time. Even if they do arrive in enough time their land troops are terrible compared to ours.
Also, by taking over Portugal we will hurt Great Britain's trade groups and take out one of their important allies. Britain relies heavily on Portugal for overseas trade of goods and supplies. By taking this out this will hurt Great Britain's economy causing a possible uproar of the people. If Portugal falls then Great Britain will lose a valuable ally of the military aspect. By doing this
