Recent studies now show that patients could decrease their opiate intake, increase their medical marijuana intake, and have greater pain relief than ever before. Researchers were not sure what to expect when adding medical marijuana to opiate use, but they were pleasantly surprised to find out that the medical marijuana and opiate mixing had no adverse affects on the patients. In fact it showed them, that patients could decrease the amount of opiates which they are currently taking and have greater pain relief. Medical marijuana also relieves people of nausea. Many people experience extreme nausea from multiple sclerosis, cancer treatment, and pregnancy morning sickness.
