By Day 4, using your scholarly voice, post a brief description of what scholarly writing means to you as a future scholar-practitioner. Then, explain two challenges you might encounter in finding your scholarly voice. Finally, describe one strategy you might employ (or have employed) to promote critical thinking and protect against bias in your own scholarly writing and explain how.

Scholarly writing implies writing to professionals about a subject matter within a specific discipline. The style and content of the article will depend on the discipline. But generally a scholarly paper will be clear and concise, it will be void of individual opinions, be objective, void of jargon, pejoratives and will be evidence based (Walden University, 2013a). A scholarly writing will seek to bring to light results of a research, bring attention to some old or new phenomena of the discipline or just expantiate an idea which is already in existence. It may also be to substantiate a myth with evidence or to bring an end to a myth with evidence. Regardless of the intent or significance of the scholarly write up, it must be grounded with scientific evidence (Walden University, 2013b). Regardless of what the scholar is putting down in writing, there should be a reason for the article clearly stated in the write up. In the public health field for example a scholarly writing style will include 1) an abstract which is a summary of your writing generally not more than a paragraph (Harris, 2006).; 2) introduction which is the first part of the actual write up (Hallas and Feldman, 2006),;3) the research question to be answered;
