I Introduction: Leadership and management are two opposing styles of employee supervision actively used with in the organization. It has lots of similarities, yet there are many differences that separate a manager from a leader. Bateman and Snell, 2008 stated that “Management is the process of working with people and resources, to accomplish organizational goal” (p19). Leadership is a manner in which a leader aspires to persuade his or her team to launch and achieve organizational goal. This plan was a success and within the six months after it was piloted the plan was implemented and resulted to high score in satisfaction survey. This is with the help of our leaders and staff. To be successful, our manager allocated some resources by hiring more staff. Having enough staffing is the best approach to attend all the patients’ needs along with the best decision-making, organizing and planning. This creates a healthy organizational environment and culture. Team leaders help this to be a success, and the goal and vision was clear to every employee to understand the objectives. Every staff worked hard to achieve this goal. This plan was also evaluated on how this was to be done. Real time audits were done randomly to check the activities of the staff
Recommendations
Managers and leaders both have the same goal to create and maintain healthy organizational culture. The managers and leaders seek to produce healthy atmosphere for employees to work but the intentions are different. The manager requires healthy organizational cultures in order to get more work generated from employees while leaders believe and respect a healthy environment will improve results which will establish an efficient workplace. Both leader and manager support to have a good working environment or workplace to be efficient. In the unit that I work in, both the team leaders and the managers are trying their best to have a good working relationship with
