Obviously, it is so difficult to satisfy Foxconn workers’ physiological needs, because of the salary is very small and they still need to maintain their standard of living. Therefore, Foxconn employees usually work extra hours for earning more money.
Also, Foxconn employees are not satisfied with safety needs which needs they do not even care. To be honest, to produce iPhone or iPad will take high risk to touch deleterious materials, and the damage for workers’ body is permanently. But Foxconn manage may not concern about that, because Foxconn will change another trained employees in every 3 to 5 years, Foxconn do not pay attention on workers which leave the production lines.
Most of Foxconn workers are 18-27 years old, these workers are much different which have much higher expectations with needs of self-actualization to realize one's own maximum potential and possibilities. But self-actualization needs are the final need of theory which certify when these lower level needs have been satisfied.
At present, love or social needs, affection and belonging needs and needs for self-esteem are not met for Workers in Foxconn. Such as most employees do not even know their room mates' names, and managers often punish the workers.
