Introduction: Personal and professional development of an individual depends is an important element of a professional which depends on his/her personal and interpersonal skills. Every profession has particular challenge which a person find difficult to overcome unless he/she fail to make due progress within the job perspectives. In the past few decades profession the roles and responsibilities of a manager have changed extensively. This trend is mainly due to major change in organization policies and greater impact of globalization. However, it is never that much easy to define overall roles and responsibilities of a managerial position precisely. But there are some roles and responsibilities that are common to all professionals throughout the various organizations

Personal skill management:
It is always hard to know where the roles and responsibilities of a manager should pause and I feel it is every individual’s responsibility to know the boundaries as well as the limitations. Even though there still exists a misconception that the only skill required to be a successful is the ability to manage people, but when I go to manage where I work it goes far beyond this. This is because, some challenge may occur within the organization which really test the temperaments and skill of the individual. It is also a traditional belief that a manager needs to be highly experienced no matter how much knowledge he/she has on managing perspective. A manager must be multi faceted adapting to ever changing circumstance (WALKLIN, 1990). How a manager deals with others, his/her art of speaking, writing, analysing, his/her quality of leadership, decision making, persuading, cooperation, how confidently she/he handles difficult people and tough situation- all these things are to be developed personally. Apart from this, effective personal and interpersonal skills underpin professional practice. Key personal skills of a manager include Reflection, Self-awareness, Planning, Monitoring, Time management, Flexibility, Self-appraisal etc. They also include a number of dimensions including empathy, team working, creative thinking, the skill of reflection – and a sense of humor and so on. All are underpinned by effective communication skills in their widest sense. Resources in this section focus on a range of speaking, listening and questioning skills that can help me to develop essential attributes such as empathy, team working and reflection. According to Fayol the term Planning is some kind of predicting potential conditions which may directly or indirectly arise in future. It is also very important to achieve business objectives. Again, Time Management defines producing expected results in a timely manner which is the key to success of every professional. This is an extremely important self-management skill this is because it makes an employee be more productive. As a manger there are a great variety of time management techniques that show him/her effective way how to develop this skill for development of self-management. Just use the web search to find plenty of them. On the other hand the self-awareness is a very vital skill for a manager refers to a
