Malaysia in the 1990s (A)

Abstract
In this case study we will analyze the procedure for Malaysia's economic growth in the 1990. First will be introduced a brief history of the country. After, the text will roll out the early growth of the country after the rupture with British that held the country as a colony. During those years it is possible to see the influence of the Malaysian government and its interference, both economically and socially and that made the country to reach high levels of growth and had reached the highest level in the 1990s with the new development policies.

Historically the Malaysian outside Britannic colony since the seventeenth century and during this period used Malaysian workers to work in rubber plantations. Only in the 50s, the country gained its independence.
In relation to Malaysia, it can be said that is one of the countries that recently succeeded and that does not makes part of the western side. His claim in the global economy was due to their primary products supplying industrialized countries. As an example of supplied raw materials there were palm oil, rubber, tin and others. However, since the 1970s it was the manufacturing industrial sector geared to textiles, electrical and electronics, rubber, which caused the country to develop and reached the current level. Some years later the country made a New Economic Policy (NEP).
This new policy had as main objective the restructuring of the Malaysian economy and aimed to redistribute social wealth, to eliminate the close connection between race and economic function, a legacy of the colonial era, and restructure employment and eradicate poverty, irrespective of race.
The main consequence you saw through this new policy would be not loss of social stats as some groups saw it, but to achieve goals such as economic growth, attract investment, increase employment, among others.
These policies were followed by New Development Policy (NDP). In this case the main objective were not redistribute well being and increase the level of employment. On the other hand, now the focus was on the future, specifically in 2020 and was aimed at the country's industrialization and increase per capita income. For
