, incest, and everything in between. It gives the viewer an interesting way to look at the many problems that American families go through in their lives today. The story is about the dysfunctional Weston family brought together by the tragedy of a lost family member. The family has to deal with the loss of a loved one, and on top of that, an alcoholic, a drug abuser, a troubled young girl, and a very lost couple who doesn’t know what to do. This play is extremely unpredictable and by George Judy, who is plastered drunk. It opens up the play with a funny sense of humor and right when you think it’s going to slow down, Violet Weston, played by Cristine McMurdo-Wallis walks in. She is stumbling down the stairs cursing and talking about how many pills she’s on. The story starts with showing the dysfunctions of the family and gets more dysfunctional as the story goes on. It is an amazing play that is as dramatic as it is hilarious. The Acting in this play is really great, and Cristine McMurdo-Wallis leads the cast with a very realistic and convincing character. She plays an eccentric drug abuser that loses her husband, Beverly. You can feel her pain and can empathize how one would feel if they were to lose a family member. In one scene she is extremely wasted, dancing obnoxiously to happy, upbeat music by herself. She is acting like she doesn’t care what happened to her husband. A second later she slams her record player shut and starts bawling crying. This scene shows her amazing acting skills by being able to express her
