My name is Kristyna Candelaria and I am an engineer in New Mexico. It is the year 2006 and I am married to a wonderful man. We currently have two children and have another on the way. Our son and daughter are 16 months old and are fraternal twins. My husband has a career being an electrician. We get up every morning at 5:00 a.m. and I cook breakfast for our family. We usually have eggs with bacon or waffles/pancakes for our breakfast. We then take turns showering and get ready for work. My mother comes to my house to pick up our children and takes them to her home where she watches them for the day. We head off to work and after work I pick up our children and bring them home and feed them dinner. Dinners at our house are a wide variety but here are some of the common foods that we eat. We will have potatoes, beans, tacos, enchiladas, spaghetti, sandwiches, salad, or spinach and beans. These are all pretty common New Mexican foods. We are of the Hispanic origin and we are in the perfect place to live because those are all the kinds of foods that are also on the menus at local resturaunts. We go to the local grocery store named Albertsons. I try not to go to Wal-Mart often because I feel they are trying to create a monopoly and make Wal-mart the only store available to people. So even though the food is more expensive I like to go and support much smaller local grocery stores. My husband and I take a trip to the grocery store on every Wednesday which is when we are paid. We go and get the basics for our family which includes rice, beans, tortillas, eggs, milk, cereal, fruits, vegetables, bagels, drinks, and snacks for the
