The Asia-Pacific Network Information Center (APNIC) provides number resource allocation and registration services that support the global operation of the Internet. It is a not-for-profit, membership-based organization whose members include Internet Service Providers, National Internet Registries, and similar organizations.

4. The reason I believe the world is running out of IP addresses is no one could possibly fathom how big the internet would become. Over the years the internet has become our main resource for business, school, and even daily living.

7. Yes, I do believe that it is possible for companies to not release IP addresses to ARIN to make a profit. Many IP addresses have become hot commodities with so few left, so some people will pay top dollar for them.
