Article#1: Card Issuers Jump Onto Apple Pay Bandwagon
As Apple introduced the iPhone 6 as well as the Apple Watch, it also introduced a new payment system called Apple Pay. This feature allow customers to just tap their device that has NCF capability to the point of sale machine and a transaction will be made. Card issuers are willing to pay transaction fees to Apple for participating in the Apple Pay which means they will get less money, yet they are betting that their costs will be covered easily. Banks such as Wells Fargo, Citibank, and J.P Morgan are all signing up to participate in this new technology that supports Visa, MasterCard, and American Express cards. This is all due to the fact that they all think this is much more convenient for their clients and will make electronic transaction easier.

There are many interesting and surprising facts that I have found in the Radio Television Digital News Association’s Code of Ethics. The first things that I noticed is that many of points overlap between the main codes of conduct: public trust, truth, fairness, integrity, independence, and accountability. There is an overarching theme among the rules, which is that journalists are expected to be “trustees of the public”. It is interesting that there is a lot of emphasis on journalists being held…

lecture that I learned is that not only was the novel Frankenstein created, but Dracula also was so called “born” on the same night. So in this paper I'm going to cover some of the interesting things I learned in the lecture as well as a new interesting fact that I found. At first this information…

I thought it was interesting to learn how…
LITERAY ESSAY – GULF In the novel ‘Gulf’ written by Robert Westall, a character that I found interesting was Andy Higgins (Figgis). What made him an interesting character in the novel was his curiosity, his strange supernatural ability to look into other people’s lives and the dreams he had. Figgis’ interest in ‘things’ was one of the reasons that made him an interesting character. In the text it states that “in the beginning, it would just be some object he had picked up. An Ice-lolly…
touch-skin, and sight-eyes. Something that was really interesting was how the tongue has bitter at the end of the tongue sour is in the middle salty is a little bit in front of sour and sweet all the way in the front of the tongue it was very interesting. 6 the sixth thing that I learned in my book was about the nerves and brain. I learned the parts of the brain, brain damage, center of the brain, and the cerebrum. What was really interesting to me on this part in the book is all the nerves how…
I selected these works for comparison because I find the shift in style and subject matte to be very interesting and also because I have always loved antique silverware. I really wanted to either do sculpture or something besides a painting for this project because I find them more appealing but it was hard finding such works on the second floor of the art museum or the works were in the temporary exhibit and I couldn’t find the labels. I love how the Heming piece reflects the old traditions of…
came from an old southern family, grew up in Oxford, Mississippi. He joined the Canadian, and later the British, Royal Air Force during the First World War, studied for a while at the University of Mississippi, and temporarily worked for a New York bookstore and a New Orleans newspaper. Except for some trips to Europe and Asia, and a few brief stays in Hollywood as a scriptwriter, he worked on his novels and short stories on a farm in Oxford. Faulkner’s most famous, most popular, and most different short…
Project Reflection My topic for the project was advertisements and how it fits in with visual psychology. While working on this project I learned vast amounts of new information and I actually enjoyed doing this research. It was a very interesting topic to look at and also very intriguing to see how advertisements changed over the years but had many of the same basic principles. Advertisements are all around us and we are bombarded by them from day one, but it’s a little crazy to think that…
Gabriel F. Perez 3/9/2013 What Makes TV News Different I found the online course, Watching TV News: How To Be a Smarter Viewer, to be very interesting and helpful in the understanding of the dynamics behind digesting information via the television. Although, the course was a bit long it was very informative and dynamic with videos and self-test. There were many tricks that I had no idea TV channels used to fill airtime that were eye opening to me. Also, the strategies and ways to dissect…
