EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
OVERVIEW
The primary objective of the company is to establish high-quality Structural Insulated Panels [SIPs] facilities in Arizona, California, Tennessee, Louisiana and Hawaii to take advantage of what is perceived as an upcoming general strategic shift in the home construction industry. The company will consider other such locations from time to time as warranted by opportunities and market conditions.
We believe that the following characteristics of SIPs homes and buildings can advance the construction industry generally, will significantly profit home-buyers, and introduce a quality business enterprise for donors or investors. In addition, we offer a novel humanitarian feature to the plan that can literally help millions of people internationally. (Request for Memorandum of Introduction).
SIPS home and buildings offer compelling advantages. The major benefits are as follows:
• Cost competitive for a significantly superior product
• Prefabrication
• “The world’s most energy efficient way to build;” e.g., substantial energy savings, up to 75%, for lower long-term costs and utility supplier incentives. For example, “Homes and commercial buildings made with R-Control Panels (SIPS) are so efficient that the hot water from your Water Heater circulated through our LifeBreath Clean Air Furnace is enough to keep your home warm in the winter - even in Michigan - and a small air conditioner will keep it cool during the summer.” (www.controlledenvironmentstructures.com)
• Greater ease of construction including significant labor savings; homes can be placed under roof in days not weeks
• Much greater durability and strength, proven in hurricanes and earthquakes. SIPs homes are at least three times stronger than traditional wood frame construction and built properly can last 100-200 years; indeed, SIPs homes can be built up to 10 times stronger than traditional wood frame construction
• Environmentally friendly, preserves and maximizes use of natural resources
• Excellent weather protection
• Significantly greater fire-protection, e.g., eliminates exterior wall fire chases
• Offers a more efficient construction methodology relative to suppliers
• Major decrease in project delays and cost overruns
• Complete design flexibility for custom homes
• Full control over indoor air quality
• Meets or exceeds all government requirements; SIPs systems are recognized by all major code organizations such as
