Speech Goal: I would like to give everybody an insight on Tiger Wood’s life. I will talk about his early childhood, golf career, and the scandal that became his downfall.

INTRODUCTION
Who in your opinion is the most dominant well-known figure in professional sports? This is up for debate to many of us as we all have different likes or interests. But there is one individual who was destined for stardom and was in the spotlight at a very early age.

He is arguably the one individual in our lifetime that transformed his sport. With his presence, the sport of golf became popular and was no longer a ratings buster on television, and became a sport more young kids wanted to get involved in.
5. Tiger’s junior golf career leading up to his college days at Stanford is unmatched by anyone and marveled by so many. He ended up with 21 amateur wins before turning pro.

Tiger was destined for greatness at a very early age and maintained his focus with the help of his father throughout his early life. This helped paved the way for what many consider to be the best golfer to ever play on the PGA tour along with being one of richest athletes in all of sports. A. Tiger dominated the PGA Tour beginning with his first major win at the 1997 Masters Tournament. 1. He became the youngest ever to win the Masters. 2. He was the youngest ever to win the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year. 3. All in all Tiger Woods has won 71 official PGA Tour events including 14 majors. He owns the lowest career scoring average and the most career earnings of any player in PGA Tour history. B. Woods has been called the world’s most marketable athlete (Helling 45). He is the highest paid athlete in the world, having earned an estimated $90.5 million from winnings and endorsements in 2010. 1. He signed his first deal with Nike when he was twenty years old at a record $40 million dollars before he even swung his first club on the PGA Tour. 2. In 2000, he signed a 5-year $105 million
