Speech is not just someone's written or voiced opinions, but it is also the way that a person tries to express his or her ideas or beliefs using other meanings. Without different beliefs, theories, opinions and controversy, we will never advance as a people. All we would be left to do is think and speak the same, and believe the same beliefs. Our minds will no longer be able to run wild with brilliant, and sometimes controversial thoughts; though even if they did, we wouldn't be able to vocalize any of it. Speech is an important component in our everyday lives, we socialize and interact with each other every day. We learn from our experiences, creating problems, finding solutions, developing theories, and voicing our opinions through the power of speech. As time passes, you discover who you are and what goals you want to set for your future through experiences you'll encounter. During high school, I was considering nursing as my chosen path career. I have spent many hours in this setting and feel that I have a pretty good understanding as to what goes on day to day. Before choosing to become a nurse, one must first examine themselves and look to see if they have the right qualities for this profession. Some qualities are such; caring, compassion, a strong desire and willingness to help those in need, patience, honesty and above all, good health. You need strength for such duties as lifting patients to and from bathroom facilities. There has, and continues to be, a very high demand for nurses
