Introduction The purpose of this proposal is to provide you with the basic information about the different Information system I feel we should implement in our business. The way a business is run has totally evolved from the way companies ran those years ago because of the new technology that is available today. With today’s technology you would be able to use these systems even if you have little to no experience at all. This proposal will give you a breakdown of the systems needed to help improve our business to be able to compete in the industry.

Objective
Our main objective is to provide our customers with all the vintage and latest music available whether it be vinyl records, tapes, cd and downloads for MP3 players or IPod.

Information Systems There are several types of information systems available however, not all of them will be a right fit for our business. The information systems that I feel we should implement in our store are 1 Transaction Processing System (TPS), 2. Management Information System (MIS), Expert System (ES) and Supply Chain Management. The Transaction Processing System is the first system we need to implement. This system supports the monitoring of data that is collected and processes the data which is essentials for us because it collects data in real time which will allow us to keep up with all information for our business on a daily basics. The Management Information System is the second and equally important system we need to implement in our store. This system will produce a summarize report from our customers transaction in our sales areas which will allow us to identify and meet our customers’ needs. This system will allow us to compete with other stores. The Expert System will make decision in particular areas such as credit card analysis. Now days people rarely uses cash when making purchases so this system will be very beneficial for us in our store. This system makes decision as if you and I would. Lastly, the Supply Chain Management System is a must have to manage the flow of products in order make sure we meet our
