Impacts of an Energy Plan

My dearest great-great grand-children:
The finding of this letter explaining the best option for a long-term energy sustainability plan is no accident, and if you have opened a time capsule as directed, this letter is one hundred years old and the year is two thousand and fifteen (2015).
The nation’s current energy situation is in bad shape. We have nearly depleted the planets resources of fossil fuels that are non-renewable. Energy4Me.org defines nonrenewable resources as are energy sources like petroleum, propane, natural gas, coal and nuclear power. These resources have taken millions of years to produce and cannot rejuvenate in shorter lengths
Another weakness in my opinion is the fact that I cannot affordably support the city with a renewable energy resource at this time, such as wind power or possibly hydrokinetic power. This area is a perfect region for wind power sustainability and were a researching the remaining renewable resources and eliminating those that are not feasible for our city. The ability to sell our excess energy to neighboring communities instead of purchasing it from them is a sustainable strength in relation to the economic success of our city. Another is our city’s growth in population and industry interests in planting roots here and with that comes a much larger financial outlook with tourism.
In every facet of preservation includes conservation and whether or not we can sustain our human systems. To date we have failed at sustainability because we over consume, regretfully fail adequately to manage our use of nonrenewable resources and the need for action on waste management. The less we buy, the less we put in landfills. We must educate in all facets of the three R's! Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. We can achieve sustainability without mining any more of our resources from the earth, in doing so we must focus on renewable resources. We must educate, so they learn how to preserve what we have, conserve what we need for future generations, and the way to utilize recycling to its fullest.
The ways we have managed our precious life's resources in the
